In a deeply moving tribute, rising Irish boxer Paddy Donovan has broken his silence following the devastating death of his cousin, Scarlett Faulkner.

The 29-year-old mother-of-one tragically passed away on Monday after fighting for her life for three weeks in Cork University Hospital. Scarlett had been on life support after suffering catastrophic injuries in a violent roadside assault.

Paying an emotional tribute on social media, Paddy wrote:

“Rest in paradise my cousin. God will deal with the people that has been evil to you. Let justice be served. You will be missed. God be with my aunt and uncle and your family.”
